DESCRIPTION:Our America’s 250 Celebration kicks off on Thursday\, May 21 with THREE events that showcase the American spirit. The OPENING RECEPTION is on Friday\, May 28 at 5:30 PM.Our Signature Art Show is a deeply personal exhibition that explores ‘What American Means to Me’ from the individual perspectives of 28 artists and in a variety of mediums.Our celebration of America and its legacy of volunteerism continues with the return of the American Signature Quilt. Created in 1989 as a fundraiser for Harrison Brothers\, the quilt features the original autographs of 170 transformation Americans\, including presidents\, supreme court justices\, artists\, authors\, and astronaut.Our third event\, ‘How to Save a Historic Store in Five Easy Steps\,’ explains how Lynn Jones and Dale Rhoades developed the Signature Quilt project\, collected the signatures\, and stitched them up into the Ohio Star patterned-quilt that exists today
