DESCRIPTION:Join Tim Barnack in building a new trail that will connect Hickory Cove to Monte Sano! Volunteers should expect to hike up to 4 miles with more than 200 feet of elevation change. \nThe meeting location for this project will be the Bankhead Parkway turnoff. This location does not have an exact address\, so participants are asked to use the map link below for directions: \nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/Xbbg3ypHbS3hhyE29 \nNo experience required. Please wear sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. Bug spray\, sunscreen\, work gloves\, eye protection\, and water recommended. Complete a separate registration for each individual participating (each person must sign a waiver). Guardians may sign up on behalf of minors. Registration Required. \nSign Up! \nIf this event is canceled due to weather or trail conditions\, we will send a notification to registered participants to the email address provided at sign up.

DESCRIPTION:(Moderate / about 2 hours / around 2 miles) \nJoin us for a mid-week hike to walk this preserve’s primary trail\, the Legacy Loop. Covering much of the preserve\, this hike will show you some of the beauty this hillside has to offer. \nMeeting Location: Trailhead Greenway Parking – 1500 Trailhead Main St\, Huntsville\, AL 35811 \nComing from Huntsville\, head east on Highway 72. At the intersection of Highway 72 and Moores Mill Road\, turn right into the Trailhead community. Then turn right onto Trailhead Main Street.
