SUMMARY:Rocket City New Music presents: Sound Bites
DESCRIPTION:Sound Bites is a one-night progressive percussive concert experience unlike anything Huntsville has seen before. \nRather than presenting a concert in a single room\, Rocket City New Music invites audiences to journey through Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment\, discovering a series of immersive performances staged throughout the historic building. Each stop pairs contemporary percussion with the work of local artists\, food and drink\, creating an experience that celebrates Huntsville’s creative community while encouraging audiences to explore every corner of one of the city’s most important cultural destinations. \nAs performers and audience move together from one destination to the next\, the boundaries between concert\, gallery\, and gathering begin to disappear. The result is more than a concert. It’s an experience that puts the performing arts\, visual arts\, and culinary arts in direct conversation with one another\, serving as a concrete example of Huntsville’s creative community operating as a unified ecosystem. \nFeaturing performances by: \nWaichi Champion\, Benjy Krauss\, Sean Ritenauer\, Marcelina Suchocka\, Andrea Venet\, and composer/percussionist Chris P. Thompson. \nGuests are invited to arrive early for a cocktail-style pre-show before the main program begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available at rocketcitynewmusic.org/tickets. \n  \nABOUT RCNM: \nOur mission is to make Huntsville a nationally-recognized hub for contemporary classical music by bringing elite performers and composers from across the country\, commissioning new works\, and creating multi-sensory experiences that illuminate music for everyone. \nLearn more about us at RocketCityNewMusic.org.
