DESCRIPTION:🎨 The Curious Artist Camp🎨 \nCreativity Starts with Curiosity\nA 3-Day Kids Art Summer Camp \nAges 8–12 \nJune 15-17\, 2026 \n9:00 AM – 12:00 PM \nStudio 269 | Huntsville Art Supplies \nThe Curious Artist Camp invites young creators to explore texture\, color\, recycled materials\, and functional design in a welcoming studio environment. Over three creative mornings\, campers will experiment with new techniques\, build confidence\, and create artwork they’re proud to take home. \nWith a maximum of 12 students\, this small-group camp allows for individualized guidance\, hands-on exploration\, and plenty of room for curiosity to lead the way. \nWhat We’ll Explore\n🌿 Texture Hunters\nWe’ll head outside to discover natural textures and bring our findings back into the studio to create layered prints using simple printmaking techniques. \n♻️ Recycled Mosaic Magnets\nCampers will transform bottle caps and mixed materials into colorful mosaic magnets while exploring pattern\, composition\, and creative reuse. \n🐉 Posca Monster Mugs\nStudents will design and decorate their own ceramic mug using professional Posca paint markers\, combining character design with functional art. \nWhat’s Included\nThe $225 fee covers the following in-class and take home supplies: \n\nAll art materials\nSketchbook\nPosca marker set\nPlay dough\nThree completed projects\nOptional take-home creative prompts\n\nWhat to Bring\n\nA snack and drink each day\nClothes that can get messy\n\nAbout the Instructor\nHannah Johnson is a certified educator with years of experience working with children of all ages. She is passionate about hands-on creativity and creating welcoming spaces where young artists can explore\, experiment\, and build confidence.
