Most of our members have enough props to share\, so all you need to bring is your willingness to try something new! \nWhat is Flow Arts? \nFlow arts is a general term used to describe the intersection of a variety of movement-based disciplines including dance\, juggling\, fire-spinning\, and object manipulation. The broad category flow arts includes a variety of pursuits that harmonize skill-based techniques with creative expression to achieve a state of present-moment awareness known as ‘flow’. \nCommon forms of flow arts include poi & staff spinning\, hula hoop (or “hooping”)\, juggling\, sphere manipulation (or “contact juggling”)\, and fan dance. DESCRIPTION:Rocket City Dinner Club is a unique social dining experience designed to help people build meaningful connections over a shared meal. Whether you’re new to Huntsville\, looking to expand your social circle\, or simply enjoy meeting new people\, each event brings together small groups of six guests who are thoughtfully matched using a personality questionnaire. The dinner location is revealed the morning of the event\, creating an element of surprise\, and the evening concludes with an optional after-party where guests from all of the tables can continue the conversation. Registration is $15.99 per person\, which covers personality matching\, restaurant coordination\, and event planning. Guests purchase their own food and beverages at dinner. The next Rocket City Dinner Club will take place on Thursday\, August 20\, at 6 p.m. in downtown Huntsville. Registration closes Tuesday\, August 18\, at 6 p.m.\, and advance registration is required as space is limited.
