DESCRIPTION:WhistleStop: Where BBQ\, Beats\, and Community Meet. \nThe WhistleStop festival is back and sizzling! A beloved North Alabama tradition since 2001\, WhistleStop returns to the vibrant MidCity District for the third time. Presented by the Apollo Coalition\, this year’s festival features a new dessert contest\, live local music\, and an array of food and activities for the whole family. \nThe sizzle returns to the heart of MidCity on October 17th and 18th. \nTickets \n\n\nFriday Single Day (Oct. 17th): $15 advance price ($20 at the gate). Includes People’s Choice WINGS tasting from 6 PM – 7:30 PM (while supplies last). \n\n\nSaturday Single Day (Oct. 18th): $15 advance price ($20 at the gate). Includes People’s Choice PULLED PORK tasting from 2 PM – 4 PM (while supplies last). \n\n\nWeekend Pass: $25 advance price ($35 at the gate). Includes both People’s Choice tastings. \n\n\nChildren 12 and under: FREE \n\n\nParking: FREE \n\n\nAll tickets include access to: \n\n\nThe MainStage: Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy live music from local and regional acts including JUICE\, The Dawn Osborne Band\, The Grasstronauts\, YearB4\, The Envied\, and more! \n\n\nPeople’s Choice Tastings: Sample and judge BBQ from the Shadetree Barbeque Teams. Tastings include: \n\n\n\n\nWINGS: Friday\, 6 PM – 7:30 PM \n\nPULLED PORK: Saturday\, 2 PM – 4 PM\n\n\n\nFood Vendor Alley: A delicious variety of food options for every taste. \n\n\nThe Window World Picnic Zone: Hang out with friends\, grab food from the Alley\, and watch the big games. \n\n\nThe Pigpen: Inflatable bounce houses\, STEM activities\, and more to entertain our youngest WhistleStop guests. \n\n\nTastings are while supplies last.
