DESCRIPTION:(Moderately difficult / 3 hours/ 3 miles) Bethel Spring Nature Preserve has one of the most beautiful waterfalls on any of the Land Trust preserves and one of the largest in Madison County. This hike will start with an easy walk on the Bethel Creek Loop Trail. Things get a bit more challenging though as the route follows the Carpenter and Falling Sink Trails up to the waterfall. This trail is moderately difficult because of the 400 feet of elevation gain needed to get to the waterfall. Be ready to join in the sets for St. Patrick’s Day or Burns Night or any other time there’s celtic music available to dance to. \nThe goal of this class is to teach you the basics of Irish and Scots ceili dances\, along with some of the more widely known dances. \nWhile we probably can’t cover dances from all seven Celtic Nations\, we’ll do our best to present a wide selection of celtic dance and have a good time dancing it. No previous experience or partners required. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about celtic dance but were afraid to ask. \nSaturdays from 4:30pm-5:30. $15/$10 students. There is a houseplant that will work for every person\, the trick is to discover which ones work best for you and your environment. We will consider why certain plants tend to be more difficult and ways to remedy challenging houseplant situations. Usual challenges within our homes will be addressed (hello kittens & air vents!) and solutions will be discussed. We will examine the most commonly found houseplants as well as some exciting easy care rare plants.  \nThere will be an in-depth presentation of various soils and additives\, along with a repotting chat and demonstration. Each participant will leave the class with a basic knowledge of houseplant care as well as specific solutions to become a confident houseplant keeper. \nCapacity is limited\, so reserve your spot today! \nAdditional Information: This class will take place in person at Huntsville Botanical Garden.
