DESCRIPTION:(Moderate / probably a bit more than 2 hours / 3 miles) Come join us at the Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve as we hike the “high trails” of the preserve. This hike will give us the opportunity to get out and see the upper elevations of the preserve. We’ll start by heading south from the pavilion on the Moonshine Trail. We’ll take the Whole Planet Trail to the Terry Trail for a walk up the hill. A loop on the Bulldog trail will bring the group around to catch the Terry Trail back down to the pavilion. \nSign up \nIn the event this hike has to be canceled due to weather\, we will send a notification to the email address you used to register. \nLocation: The Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve\, 1263 U.S Hwy 72 East\, Huntsville\, AL 35811 (Directions: Coming from Huntsville\, cross Chapman Mountain on Hwy 72 and U-turn at Moores Mill Road. When safe\, get into the merge lane on the right (plenty of time). When the silver guard rail ends\, be ready to turn right onto the paved entrance.
