DESCRIPTION:Huntsville Ballet Company opens its 2025-2026 season with two world premieres— Ashley Dolloff’s The Shape of a Promise and Gina Guerrera’s Beneath the October Moon. Emerging choreographer Dolloff debuts her romantic ballet set to the expressive and emotional music of classical composer Sergei Rachmaninoff; the joys and trials of covenantal love inspired this moving work. Guerrera’s piece leads children and adults through an enchanted night of mystical Halloween surprises; with original composition by Huntsville based composer and pianist Jackson Love\, Beneath the October Moon is sure to delight trick-or-treaters of all ages. \nChildren who attend the ballet in costume are invited to join the costume parade on stage\, and will receive a free ticket to see The Sleeping Beauty in April 17-19.
