SUMMARY:Silverada at The Princess Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Silverada Brings their Evolutionary Sound to The Princess Theatre on Halloween Night \nDecatur\, AL – October 31\, 2025 – What better way to mark Halloween than with Silverada\, the band formerly known as Mike and the Moonpies\, as they take the historic Princess Theatre stage for a night of electrifying music and reinvention? \nTexas-born band\, Silverada—composed of Mike Harmeier (vocals/guitar)\, Taylor Englert (drums)\, Catlin Rutherford (guitar)\, Omar Oyoque (bass)\, and Zachary Moulton (pedal steel guitar)—embodies evolution. Once the quintessential workingman’s country band\, their sound has expanded\, and now their name reflects that transformation. Their latest album\, Silverada\, not only reintroduces the band but redefines their place in the Americana and roots rock landscape. \nMuch of Silverada was born in Harmeier’s backyard studio\, where he immersed himself in an eclectic mix of literature—everything from astronomy books to sci-fi novels—to push his songwriting into uncharted territory. Inspired by Jeff Tweedy’s approach to lyricism\, Harmeier spent a month crafting songs through freewriting exercises and wordplay\, resulting in some of the band’s most adventurous material yet. \nRecorded at Yellow Dog Studios with longtime producer Adam Odor\, the album blends Silverada’s signature sharp storytelling and country roots with an eagerness to break the mold\, chase new sounds\, and push the boundaries. Tracks like “Stubborn Son” (a tribute to Harmeier’s father) showcase their deep connection to family and tradition\, while “Doing It Right” nods to their throwback country influences. Meanwhile\, songs like “Load Out” celebrate the blue-collar grind of musicians and road crews alike. \nSilverada’s Halloween night performance at the Princess Theatre is set to be a high-energy\, genre-blending show unlike anything fans have seen before. With a setlist that spans their country roots\, rock influences\, and fearless new material\, this is more than just a concert—it’s a statement of where Silverada is going next. \nPresale to The Princess Theatre members will being March 12. Public tickets will go on sale March 14. Day of show\, doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with performance beginning at 7:00 p.m. \nMore information and tickets can be found at www.princesstheatre.org.

SUMMARY:Tangled String Studios Presents Chatham Rabbits
DESCRIPTION:Danny Davis and Tangles String Studios studio RR7 in amazing Lowe Mill A&E welcomes the Chatham Rabbits! These musical life partners take their name from the wild rabbits that once roamed Chatham County\, North Carolina. More than a century ago\, rabbits were considered a prized cash crop\, drawing hunters and traders from across the region. Many years later\, the duo found themselves in Bynum\, North Carolina\, living in a historic mill house along the Haw River. That home once belonged to a mill family whose patriarch played in the mill-sponsored string band also called The Chatham Rabbits. Carrying that legacy forward\, the husband-and-wife team now share life and music as the modern-day Chatham Rabbits. \nThey are passionate about writing new songs\, creating concerts that lift spirits\, and building genuine community. Rooted in their North Carolina home\, they balance their love of music with simple joys—Cookout milkshakes\, the wit of David Sedaris\, fly fishing\, horseback rides\, arrowhead hunting\, and long\, thoughtful conversations.

SUMMARY:Celtic (céilí ) Dance Classes
DESCRIPTION:Learn Irish and Scots ceili dances in a casual\, relaxed setting. No high kicks\, leaps\, or hard shoes required\, just a desire to have fun dancing ceili party dances. Be ready to join in the sets for St. Patrick’s Day or Burns Night or any other time there’s celtic music available to dance to. \nThe goal of this class is to teach you the basics of Irish and Scots ceili dances\, along with some of the more widely known dances. \nWhile we probably can’t cover dances from all seven Celtic Nations\, we’ll do our best to present a wide selection of celtic dance and have a good time dancing it. No previous experience or partners required. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about celtic dance but were afraid to ask. \nSaturdays from 4:30pm-5:30. $15/$10 students. Cash or Venmo. \nThis class is drop in friendly. We’ll keep dancing previous dances as we continue to learn new ones
