
Among 20 new building permits issued in Alabama last week exceeding $1 million, four new permits are for projects in the Huntsville area. One of those projects involves a second Amazon Fulfillment Center in Huntsville.

Project Laser | 2nd Amazon Fulfillment Center

A second Amazon fulfillment center is in the works in Huntsville. Located next to Amazon’s first Huntsville fulfillment center, the second Amazon center will be an extra-large “non-sortable facility.”
Once complete, the 1 million-square-foot facility will be able to store and package bulky items like home appliances. Here are some more details:
