Enjoy live music\, family-friendly activities\, the American Eras Parade\, and a spectacular fireworks finale as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday together. \nBig Spring ParkSaturday\, July 4Festivities begin at 4:00 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent ScheduleThe festivities kick off at 4 p.m. with a vendor market\, food trucks\, historical reenactments\, educational activities\, and music from a live DJ in Big Spring Park.\nAt 5 p.m.\, the American Eras Parade steps off through downtown. \nThe 6 p.m. Opening Ceremony is followed by live music from Groove and Jazz McKenzie with her 10-piece band. \nThe evening concludes at 9 p.m. with a fireworks spectacular accompanied by the Huntsville Concert Band. DESCRIPTION:Come Flow With Us! \nJoin our local movement arts community for some friendly social practice time in the park! Our community meetups are free\, friendly\, sober and family-friendly spaces for everyone to come and find community through joyful self-expression. \nOur movement arts community encompasses jugglers\, unicyclists\, flow artists\, and fire spinners\, among others. Beginners are very welcome – no experience needed! Most of our members have enough props to share\, so all you need to bring is your willingness to try something new! \nWhat is Flow Arts? \nFlow arts is a general term used to describe the intersection of a variety of movement-based disciplines including dance\, juggling\, fire-spinning\, and object manipulation. The broad category flow arts includes a variety of pursuits that harmonize skill-based techniques with creative expression to achieve a state of present-moment awareness known as ‘flow’. \nCommon forms of flow arts include poi & staff spinning\, hula hoop (or “hooping”)\, juggling\, sphere manipulation (or “contact juggling”)\, and fan dance.
