Hypertufa pots are fun and easy to make creating unique containers for your home garden. These containers are composed of Portland cement\, perlite\, peat moss and water which looks like concrete\, but is very lightweight. \nThe best way to learn is hands-on! In this class you’ll be making a flower pot(s) to take home learning the step by step process to making hypertufa pots. This hobby is addictive\, so once you start\, you won’t want to stop! You’ll take home directions\, care instructions\, and creative ideas to further your garden experience. \nCapacity is limited\, so reserve your spot today! \nAdditional Information: This class will take place in-person at the Huntsville Botanical Garden in an indoor space. Rebecca holds a Master of Science degree in Horticulture from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Stephen F. Austin State University. She discovered her passion for public horticulture and teaching through her mom and her various employments at the SFA Mast Arboretum\, “Nacogdoches Naturally” Education Program\, Missouri Botanical Garden\, JC Raulston Arboretum\, and Moore Farms Botanical Garden.  \nAt Huntsville Botanical Garden\, she serves as the Vice President of Learning and Public Engagement. She has a strong passion for educating the community\, leadership\, public horticulture\, and sharing her love for the outdoors while teaching. She and her husband Christopher love their shared interest of horticulture and enjoy every moment outside with their sweet daughters Emilia and Ila. \n\nAs a nonprofit organization\, the Garden thrives through your support. Herb is an Honorary Master Gardener\, serving as an instructor for Master Gardener classes covering three counties\, and he has provided workshops for the annual Alabama Audubon Mountain Workshop. Herb and his wife Terry sponsored and helped develop the Lewis Birding Trail at the Huntsville Botanical Garden\, where he also serves as a volunteer docent. \n\nAs a nonprofit organization\, the Garden thrives through your support.
