DESCRIPTION:Every first Thursday of each month from 5pm-7pm is Tea & Colouring at the meadery.  \nOur bar manager Kenna will be putting on a complimentary urn of tea\, a nibble of some sort\, and hosting an informal colouring party at the group table. Bring your own colouring books\, or grab a pre-printed sheet. Pencils will be available for you to use. \nJoin us for some self care\, relaxation and community at no charge! \n* The meadery is welcoming of families and maintains a strong all inclusive SAFE SPACE policy for all * \nHere is the fastest way to get to us: \nPark near the guard shack at the main entry gate of Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. From the guard shack\, follow the concrete path around the side of the building and enter door 30. DESCRIPTION:Ravenwood Meadery presents: The 6th Annual Wicker Man \n  \nLocation: East Lawn by the Water Tower\, Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment \nCost: Free – All are welcome \n  \nEvent Schedule \n• 4:00 PM – Ceremonial face painting begins \n• 6:00 PM – Wicker Man Ceremony: Release hardships\, struggles\, and burdens in a symbolic fire ceremony \nGuests will be invited to write down anything they wish to release on paper and place it in a ceremonial box. The box will be carried in procession and burned within this year’s effigy: Yggdrasil\, the World Tree. \n  \nAbout the Ceremony \nInspired by Viking Age and Celtic traditions\, this is a community gathering\, not a religious service. It is a time to honor nature\, remember our ancestors\, and lighten the burdens we carry together. \n• Feel free to wear ceremonial garb or face paint \n• Wear comfy\, closed-toe shoes (it is a grass field) \n  \nInclusivity \nWicker Man 2025 is family-friendly\, inclusive\, and open to all. \nRavenwood Meadery strives to provide a safe\, welcoming space for everyone. \n
