SUMMARY:Holiday ATC (Artist Trading Card) Make and Swap
DESCRIPTION:We meet\, make as many 2.5×3.5 (the official size) Artist Trading Cards as we can in 1.5 hours\, then swap or keep them.\n\n\nATC swaps have been around for a while. You can paint\, draw\, or do mixed media on your cards\, which we will then trade with each other(or keep\, whatever you choose!) The cards are always the same size\, 2.5×3.5 and fit in the sleeves made for baseball cards\, but you don’t have to store them there. Add them to a journal\, a recipe box\, or make up your own way of storing them. I have these Swaps planned for once every 3 months.

She graduated with a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2020. In printmaking\, she works primarily with screen print and woodblock. She is also dabbles in many crafts\, especially textiles. Her biggest loves are music (particularly rock from the 1960s-80s)\, pop culture\, travel\, roller skating\, and all things vintage.

DESCRIPTION:From the page to the canvas; this retreat will help you go BIG with your Creativity\n\n\nAre you ready to grow your creativity in a big way?  If you enjoy art journaling and want to take it bigger\, this is for you. We’ll spend the weekend creating a canvas that explores the topic “My Creative Journey.” Maybe the idea sounds appealing but also indimidating. This retreat is designed to walk you through the entire creative process from planning to painting a mixed media piece on canvas – but in a relaxed contemplative way.  \nFriday\, September 26 from 4-6pm with packet pickup\, meet and greet\, in a “come and go” setting. Attendance to this is not necessary\, it’s just an opportunity to get situated. For those who want a jump start\, you can make your own name badge! If you can’t make it Friday\, you’ll have the opportunity to make your name tag Saturday morning. \nOur retreat space is in Studio 127\, and we’ll spend most of our time here\, except for when we go on our FIELD TRIP. \nSaturday\, September 27\, 9am-5:30pm we open up at 8:00 for anyone who didn’t get their packets on Friday. Grab a cup of coffee or tea\, find a seat\, and make your name tag if you have not already. We’ll start promptly at 9am.
