1. Mardi Gras at Midcity
Ring in Spring Mardi Gras style during this don’t-miss event. Held at The Camp, one of Huntsville’s coolest outdoor spots, this three-week event features all the live music you can handle alongside amazing food, incredible drinks and more.
2. Huntsville Blooms Festival
Watch Huntsville bloom before your eyes during this wowing festival. From March to April, Huntsville Botanical Garden bursts to life with stunning spring blooms in incredible colors. Discover everything from trees and shrubs to special flower displays, perennials and more.
3. 2022 Spring Home and Garden Show
Spring cleaning leads to spring remodeling! Make the most of your home—inside and out—during the 2022 Spring Home and Garden Show in Huntsville. There will be over 200 companies showing everything from appliances and flooring to landscaping and gardening.
4. Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Wear your green and head to the streets to cheer on the floats and performers during the Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day parade. In its 45th year you can expect an amazing show and good time for all.
5. 2022 Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo
Head to the heart of Downtown Huntsville to celebrate all things comic and pop culture. This expo features tons of fun with cosplay contests, gaming rooms, celebrity guests, vendors and more!
6. Battle of the Buffalo Wing Festival
Got chicken? Battle of the Buffalo sure does. The annual chicken wing festival held at Huntsville’s Big Spring Park features local restaurants and amateur cooks competing with their tastiest wings for the chance to be crowned best of the Tennessee Valley.

7. Panoply Arts Festival
It’s the 40th celebration of art, music and more during the Panoply Arts Festival. Held in downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park, this event has it all, including:

9. Huntsville Water Lantern Festival
A magical time awaits you during Huntsville’s Water Lantern Festival this May. Attendees have the unique chance to write down their hopes and dreams, or a special message to a loved one then send it adrift into the water at Big Spring Park among a joyous glow of lanterns.
10. Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic
Alabama’s oldest and largest hot air balloon festival blows in this Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30, and it’s a must-attend. Located about 30 minutes from Huntsville in Decatur, the event features larger-than-life hot air balloons, live entertainment and more.
