Even though we’re already looking forward to spring here at Hville Blast, we know that there’s still quite a few chilly days ahead.

If you’re still looking to enjoy the great outdoors and a great meal at the same time, there’s hope.

These 15 spots around Huntsville and Madison bring the heat with their cozy heated patios and igloos.

1. Prohibition Rooftop Bar & Grill

Prohibition has become a Madison favorite ever since its opening last fall. Their rooftop bar and grill with a 1920’s vibe serves up eclectic eats and plenty of fun “libations,” as they call them. The rooftop is open no matter the weather, with large heaters to keep everyone cozy.

2. Stovehouse

Stovehouse is one of Huntsville’s go-to’s that satisfies the whole party. They’ve got plenty of options for everyone, with barbecue, Mediterranean, Chinese and American food. On chilly evenings, the heaters and fire pits keep things warm so you can enjoy the food and the frequent live music events.

3. Baker & Able

Baker & Able is home to one of the most stunning views of downtown Huntsville—especially at night. There’s plenty of cozy spots inside, but it’s hard to pass up the igloos on the rooftop deck. Be sure to snag a reservation—they’re in popular demand.

4. Domaine South

Domaine South is a local gem tucked on the square in downtown Huntsville that you can’t go wrong with. Their wine and cheese tastings are top-notch, and their sandwiches and charcuterie boards are as creative as they are delicious. They’ve got patio heaters so you can enjoy the downtown vibe while staying warm.

5. BarVista

Located at the top of the AC Hotel in downtown Huntsville, BarVista is another spot with a breathtaking view. This one overlooks Big Spring Park and has plenty of room (and heaters!) to enjoy their upscale eats and signature cocktails.

6. BeeZr

Beezr is a downtown Huntsville spot with eats from multiple small businesses inside—Northside Coffee, Hippea Camper, Champagne Taco Kitchen and Chandlers Ford Brewing. Outside, though, they’ve got a patio with heaters—and, as a bonus, it’s dog-friendly.

Champy’s Chicken in Madison is a fun spot for juicy chicken and Southern sides like baked beans, mac and cheese and fried pickles. The vintage vibes and homey feel extend to the porch, where you’ll be plenty warm thanks to the patio heaters.

8. Melt

On one of the busiest blocks of downtown Huntsville, you’ll find lots of folks sitting outside MELT, enjoying their delicious, gooey sandwiches. Their indoor/outdoor bar is a fun addition to their heated patio.

9. Rhythm on Monroe

Rhythm on Monroe’s fun music-themed menu is best enjoyed on their rooftop deck, in our opinion. They’ve got fire pits for an aesthetic, cozy time.

10. Ale’s Kitchen at Campus No. 805

Chances are, you’ve tried Straight to Ale’s beer. But, have you visited their kitchen? They’ve got fun dishes like a jumbo Bavarian pretzel, fried cheese curds, Southern barbecue poutine and classics like burgers and pizza. You can enjoy all of it on their big, heated patio.

11. Tom Brown’s

Tom Brown’s in Madison is a steak and seafood spot with an atmosphere that’s hard to beat. Even their patio is complete with chandeliers, stylish heaters and tabletop fires.

12. Yellowhammer Brewing + Earth & Stone

This one’s a two-birds-in-one-stone kind of place. The patio outside of Yellowhammer Brewing and Earth & Stone Wood Fired Pizza is a place where you can enjoy some of the best beer and wood-fired pizza around—all under the glow and warmth of the patio heaters.

13. Winter Park at the Orion

The Orion Amphitheater’s Winter Park has been a hit this year, and it’s about to close down for the season. However, there’s still time to enjoy one of the coolest features at the park—the igloos!
