13 UAH student-athletes make conference All-Academic Team
Reading time: 2 minutes

13 student-athletes at the University of Alabama in Huntsville were just recognized by the Golf South Conference for having superior academics—earning them a spot on the conference’s All-Academic team.
It is an incredibly difficult feat to make this team, as you have to perform above-and-beyond athletically, as well as academically.
To be selected, you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher and be a significant contributor to whatever team you’re on. Other factors like community service, leadership and extracurricular activities are also taken into account.
In addition, 160 more student-athletes made spring honor roll, which requires them to have a 3.00 GPA or higher while they are competing.
