March is officially here, which means Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras are in the rearview mirror and St. Patrick’s Day is on the horizon.

If you’re ready to get into the celebratory spirit, these three Huntsville spots can help with their traditional Irish fare.

The Poppy and Parliament is known for its traditional English pub vibe and authentic English food, but it also pulls inspiration from Ireland. On the menu, you’ll find shepherd’s pie made with lamb and a creamed braised carrot and parsnip mash. For the complete experience, order the Irish Creamy Colcannon on the side.

3. Salt Factory Pub

This one’s newer to the Huntsville food scene, but has become a fast favorite for many. They serve a wide range of pub food—including a shepherd’s pie made with braised lamb, veggies and a cheesy potato puree.
