4 amazing diners you should try in Huntsville

Huntsville is home to several old-school and historic diners (including the oldest restaurant in Huntsville).
If you’re in the mood for a good breakfast or a greasy burger give one of these awesome diners a try.
1. Big Spring Cafe
You can’t get more old-school than Big Spring Cafe.
This Huntsville staple turns 102 this year, originally opening way back in 1922. They’re the self-proclaimed “home of the greasy burger” with some of the best prices around.

2. Bubby’s Diner
Bubby’s is the newest diner on the list, yet you’ll feel like you’re walking into the past with their 50s inspired atmosphere.
They’re most well known for their donut burger.

3. City Cafe Diner
City Cafe Diner has something for everyone. Their huge menu is a combination of American, Italian and Greek cusine.
Ask anyone who’s been here and they’ll probably mention the cakes, which are both huge and delicious (I should know, I bought one for my wedding).

4. Blue Plate Cafe
This is another Huntsville icon, and their big blue sign has become a landmark of its own.
This diner serves all the classics, but is most well known for their chocolate gravy.
