Huntsville is filled with some of the best views in Alabama. Not only are there beautiful landscapes, but there are also plenty of landmarks that stand out to the eye. From parks to monuments, here are four breathtaking views in Huntsville that you need to see.

Monte Sano State Park

Monte Sano is a state park that visitors and residents go to when they want some fresh air, mineral springs — and more importantly — amazing views. On top of the mountain, you can see up to twenty miles of hiking trails covered in a sea of trees. This is a great area for a family to have some fun and spend time outside together.

Ditto Landing sits right next to the Tennessee River and is a great place to get out on the water. If you love fishing or just want to enjoy driving your boat on the river, this is the place for you. Ditto Landing is the perfect spot for those river day photos.

Blevins Gap Nature Preserve

Blevins Gap Nature Preserve holds an eight-mile trail for hiking. If you want to spend a day with friends and family enjoying the beauty of nature, this preserve is the place for you. Divided into two sections going north and south, you get plenty of great views for the perfect picture.

U.S. Space and Rocket Center

Of course, Huntsville would not be Huntsville without the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Instead of the greenery being in the spotlight, Huntsville’s own Saturn 1B rocket is the reason this landmark makes it on this list. Standing 224 feet in the air, the Saturn 1B sits high enough for everyone to see.
