Huntsville has a several places to satisfy your açaí cravings, including a brand new Birmingham-based location coming soon. Check out our guide below and read about our favorite local açaí spots — some might surprise you!

1. Turbo Coffee

We tried Turbo Coffee’s Samoa Bowl, which was a perfect blend of banana, cacao nibs, almond butter and chia honey. They have six other açaí bowls to choose from, or you can come in and build your own.

2. Charlie Foster’s

This Huntsville hotspot at Stovehouse started selling açaí bowls last fall, and they’ve been a hit. If you’re looking for a fruity flavor, check out the Very Berry or Blueberry Bliss Bowls, and if you have a sweet tooth, try the Peanut Butter Chocolate Time Bowl.

3. Parlor Doughnuts

They’re known for their doughnuts, but did you know they have açaí bowls on their breakfast menu? In fact, I was surprised to find out Parlor Doughnuts has a wide selection of fresh food and coffee on their menu — all the more reason to check this spot out!

4. Honest Coffee Roasters

I had my first açaí bowl ever at Honest Coffee Roasters in Downtown Huntsville, and it’s kept me coming back ever since. Choose among their five delicious bowls, or bring your own bowl and pick five of your favorite toppings.

5. City Bowls

You may know them from Birmingham, Trussville, Hoover or even their Florida locations — by the end of 2023, City Bowls will have a home right here in Huntsville. Beyond their multiple different açaí flavors, you can try out pitaya- or spinach-based bowls.
