It’s almost that time, Huntsville — strawberry season is coming up quick!

There’s nothing better than feeling the warm sun on your skin while you eat fresh strawberries right off the vine. Luckily, we’ve rounded up four places in town where you can feel these vibes.

You can expect these places to start serving up berries around mid-April.

Brown Farms Strawberries

Brown Farms has been a staple in North Alabama for three generations, and was started in 1950 in New Market.

This farm is unique in that you can purchase buckets of pre-picked strawberries, or you can pick them right off the vine yourself! No matter your choice, this is a wonderful option for fresh berries in Hartselle.

Reeves’ Peach Farm

Reeves’ Peach Farm has been owned by the same family for over six decades.

They are open year-round and also offer peaches, watermelons and various fresh vegetables.

Isom’s Orchard

Isom’s Orchard is an iconic fixture in North AL’s market circuit. Here, you can buy buckets or pick your own berries.

It’s been standing at its Highway 72 location for decades, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. Make sure to check out their fresh flower farms when you visit!

Over Easy Acres

Over Easy Acres is another great option for fresh strawberries this summer.

With an expanding kid’s area coming this year, everyone can have fun at this family farm!
