Yes, we realize summer in the Rocket City is pretty darn hot (and predicted to be extraordinarily hot this summer in particular), but making it outdoors to expertise can be cathartic, regardless of the temperature.

That said, we have several guided hikes to tell you about here in the Huntsville area over the next couple of months.

June 22 – Green Mountain North

  • What: Beginning at the Astalot Trailhead, be prepared for a beautiful morning climb along the west side of Green Mountain.

June 28 – Cane Creek Canyon

July 12 – Foraging Hike at Hickory Cove

  • What: Close out your summer fun with a night hike at Harvest Square. The group will gather at dusk and head into the preserve as the sun goes down and nature’s night creatures come out to play.
