🍂 It may not feel like it outside, but October is well on its way to Huntsville — and that means the return of my personal favorite seasonal activity: visiting a pumpkin patch! 🎃

There’s something incredibly charming about spending the day at a pumpkin patch, enjoying fall activities, indulging in some great food and taking in the (hopefully) chilly weather.

Tate Farms

Tate Farms is far-and-away the most popular pumpkin patch around Huntsville. They offer too many activities to list here, but you’ll find things like hay rides, corn cribs (giant tubs of corn you can “swim” in), barnyard animals and of course, more than 80 acres of pumpkin fields.

Boyd Family Farm

You might already know about Boyd Family Farm for their exotic animals, like zebras, capybaras and lemurs, but did you know they also grow pumpkins each fall? Starting on September 16, you’ll be able to enjoy their Pumpkin Days at no additional cost.

Located south west of Huntsville, Hidden Rivers Farm is a great place to visit if you’re looking for awesome fall fun. You can expect a corn maze, jump pad, zip line and much more!

This farm is located in Boaz, about an hour south east of Huntsville, and has remained in the same family for five generations. You can get lost in the 10-acre corn maze, try your shot at barnyard basketball or take a gander at the petting zoo — there’s so much to do here!
