April is here, which means it’s time to round up our April birthdays—business birthdays, that is.

Huntsville’s full of small businesses that are always worth a celebration. But today, we’re spotlighting the ones that are turning another year old this month.

Can you believe that it’s been four years since Madeline and Thom Watkins opened The Moon Bakeshop in downtown Huntsville? Since they opened in 2019, The Moon has become a Huntsville favorite for all kinds of sweets and treats.

Their birthday celebration has already passed us by—but if you’re looking for an excuse to grab a cookie, here it is: go give them a “belated happy birthday!”

In just a few short days, Noella’s Flowers in Stovehouse will be celebrating their first birthday at their storefront. Of course, they’re a little bit older when you consider the flower truck days. But, we can’t let the first birthday of their beautiful, permanent location pass us by.

4. Brewer’s Cooperative Stovehouse

Huntsville has been enjoying The Brewers Cooperative at Stovehouse for a year now. This unique concept brings together local breweries under one roof and serves up some delicious food to go with the brews.

This one’s the biggest birthday celebration on our list. Mason Dixon Bakery + Bistro is celebrating 10 years (yes, ten) of being in business. For a decade, they’ve been blowing minds in Huntsville with their incredible gluten-free baked goods. They’ve got a “Save the Date” out now, with more details to come on their birthday bash.
