1. BJ’s Wholesale in Madison

We’ve been waiting for BJ’s to open since the Massachusetts-based wholesale club got its building permit in February. The popular store announced last week its first Alabama location will open in Madison on Nov. 10, which is this Friday.

2. Bloom Winery in Hampton Cove

A Rogersville based restaurant and winery, Bloom Winery, will open a second location in Hampton Cove. The restaurant serves woodfire pizza, muscadine wine and wine slushies.

3. Ro’s Grille in Athens

Ro’s Grille serves Revived American cuisine in downtown Athens. The restaurant opened in 2016, but will celebrate its grand re-opening at a new location this week.

4. Walmart on Sparkman Drive

The Walmart Supercenter on Sparkman Drive has reopened following its remodel. The store now boasts refreshed interiors, bathrooms and signage. More self-checkout lanes have been added along with a community focused mural painted by Lindsey Fourt. A new vision center and updated pharmacy also serve customers healthcare needs.

5. Elite Properties of the South

Elite Properties of the South, a real estate group in the area, will celebrate its grand opening on Mon., Nov. 6, and everyone is welcome to attend. Its new location is next to Green Bus Brewing in downtown Huntsville.
