In a recent article, we spotlighted Out Loud HSV for providing a platform for local writers to display their works. We include Out Loud HSV on this list to remind our readers of the organization’s dedication to growing and improving Huntsville’s literary community.

One Sunday per month, Out Loud hosts an open mic night for 20 local writers to get up on stage and share their work at the Speakeasy at Straight to Ale. Whether you participate or listen to other writers, this monthly event is a highlight for our city’s literary community.

If you’re looking to become published, participating in the open mic night automatically qualifies your work to be submitted for Out Loud HSV’s yearly anthology.
