5 unique experiences to give Dad for Fathers Day
Reading time: 4 minutes

Believe ot or not, Sunday, June 18 is Fathers Day. Seems like Mothers Day was just last week, right? Well, if you are scratching your head wondering what to give dear old Dad for Fathers Day, we have a few ideas for you.
Instead of giving him another tie or a sleeve of golf balls or the like, why not give him something he can go out and DO?
1. Robert Trent Jones Golf Package

The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is one of the most popular attractions in the state, with 18 courses open to the public. So this Fathers Day, why not give your dad a Robert Trent Jones Golf Package?
There are several packages to choose from, but the Summer Unlimited Special really caught my eye, which includes unlimited golf with cart and unlimited range balls at any course (other than Lakewood Club or The Back Yard at Oxmoor Valley) for $110. This package is good through Sept. 4.
2. Huntsville Havoc season tickets

If Dad is a hockey fan, here’s a great idea: why not give him season tickets to the Huntsville Havoc? There are 28 games on the Havoc schedule as the team enters its 20th season in the Rocket City!
The season begins Oct. 27 and runs through April 5. Here are the different packages:
Silver Side (Sections 305-311 & 320-326)
- Full (28 games): $420
- Half (14 games): $224
- Quarter (7 games): $119
Silver End (Sections 327-304 & 312-319)
- Full (28 games): $364
- Half (14 games): $196
- Quarter (7 games): $109
3. High Point Climbing membership

Joining a gym is great, but what if you joined a place that is a gym plus much much more? Well, as a High Point Climbing & Fitness member, you get unlimited access to members-only events, classes and more.
Memberships start at just $69!
4. Trash Pandas tickets

The Rocket City Trash Pandas led the Southern League in attendance last season, and there’s a good reason for that: the games are really fun! I would bet that your dad would appreciate some tickets to see the Trash Pandas on any game day or night. But, let me make a suggestion:
Thursday, August 24 is Classic Car Night at Toyota Field. This features a pre-game Classic Car Show in the parking lot, from 2:30PM to 5:30PM. Entry fee for the car show is $25 (+ taxes and fees) and includes a ticket to the August 24th game!
5. A concert at the Orion Amphitheater

The Orion Amphitheater is just a year old but is already receiving national accolades as a premier concert venue. If you haven;t already been to a concert at the Orion, you absolutely need to, and so does your dad! So why not get him a couple of tickets to a concert at the Orion?
There are lots of concerts to choose from, but here are just a few on the schedule:
- James Taylor, June 20
- ILLENIUM, June 28
- Ja Rule + Ashanti, June 30
- Phish, July 11-12
- Parker McCollum, July 14
- Widespread Panic, July 28-30
- Jelly Roll, Aug. 1
- Smashing Pumpkins, Aug. 17
- Billy Strings, Aug. 25-26
- Doobie Brothers, Aug. 30
- Train, Sept. 6
- Outlaw Music Festival, Oct. 11
