6 new high-dollar building permits issued in North Alabama

Of the 10 new building permits issued this past week across the state for million-dollar-plus construction projects, six are for projects in North Alabama.

This includes a $7.9 million project at Grace Chapel Community Church in Cullman, and a multi-million-dollar project at Runergy Solar Alabama in Huntsville.

New chapel for Grace Chapel Community Church

A new chapel is being built at Grace Chapel Community Church in Cullman. Ground was broken on the project in October and Eidson & Associates — the lead contractor for the new chapel — pulled the $7.9 million building permit on the project this past week.
