The countdown to Halloween continues. Along with dozens of October events and things to do in Huntsville this weekend, haunted attractions are open. We’ve found seven of the best haunted houses in and around Huntsville so you can get your scare on.
Hubert Family Farms in New Market
This spring tulip farm transforms into a spooky spot for the fall. The Haunting at Hubert Farms is open every Friday and Saturday in October for $10 a person.

This spine chilling haunted house includes animatronics, actors and spooky sounds to scare you senseless.

Bedlam in Scottsboro
This haunted attraction in Scottsboro opened last year. Its owners, Corey “Bob” Hale Gerry Lynn “Boo” Hale, manage a team of over 30 actors. General admission tickets cost $25 and extreme tickets cost $30. They also offer VIP “skip the line” tickets for $50.

Haunted House of Horror in Courtland
At Haunted House of Horror in Courtland has brought fears to life for the past 15 years. Their team of scare-masters make sure the haunted attraction is open rain-or-shine. Plus, they offer an additional “rage room” experience with the purchase of a “smash sesh” ticket.

Lester Haunted Hospital in Lester
Formerly D.E. Jackson Memorial Hospital, this site for this now haunted hospital opened in the 1940s. Before it closed in the 1990s, employees saw figures in the halls and heard unexplainable noises. Paranormal investigators have called the building a hotbed of activity.

Malice Haunted Attraction in Belfast, Tenn.
Celebrating their fifth year as a haunted attraction on the outskirts of Lewisburg, Tenn., Malice has added several new activities to improve the haunting experience. Guests can purchase a variety of concessions or participate in in-line entertainment like dead-axe throwing, casket rides and watching fire breathers.

Arx Mortis in Killen
