7 New fall drink specials (that aren’t all pumpkin spice)
I’ve been on the hunt for coffee shops’ fall menus as I convince myself the fall season is here.
Here are 7 unique fall drink specials we tried plus other fall menu items available now:
Fall drink menu highlights:
1. Apple Chaider + S’mores Moto Mocha at Turbo Coffee
I tried the Apple Chaider—something new for me as a long-time chai drinker. I was nervous about the combo, but was pleasantly surprised by the apple pie-esque flavor. The cinnamon, clove and spices of the chai balance nicely with the apple cider for a cozy drink.
My company enjoyed the S’mores special and agreed hers was just as tasty. Looks yummy, too!
2. Toasted Graham Latte at Angel’s Island
I see a trend of s’mores/graham drinks across the fall menus, including this cute Toasted Graham Latte. The marshmallow fluff smear on the inside makes it photo-worthy, and the s’mores vibes came through in their house-roasted coffee.

3. Pumpkin Moonshine Tea at Piper & Leaf
Okay, maybe technically this one is pumpkin spice—I tried the Pumpkin Moonshine Frother (a black tea latte) at Piper & Leaf.
I’m not a coffee drinker much myself, so I appreciated this all-tea fall menu.
Since I was in the mood for a pumpkin chai, the barista frothed the Pumpkin Moonshine (pumpkin chai, essentially) with steamed milk to make a silky, subtle fall-flavored drink.

4. Cookie Butter Caramel Latte at Honest Coffee Roasters
Honest Coffee is also showing up with their unique fall menu specials. Lacey tried the Cookie Butter Caramel Latte—yum. Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on the Ginger Spice Split.

5. Brown Sugar Cinnamon Milk Tea at ShakeItBoba
I’ve never met a drink I didn’t like at ShakeItBoba, and I’m sure these are no exception. You can get all sorts of Pumpkin Pie milk tea combos, plus specials like a Ginger Caramel Coffee.
The boba shop now has its own storefront on HWY 72 where you can find all these fall drink combos and more.

6. Purple Drank at Bus Stop Coffee
I love an ube latte (purple sweet potato), and this fall drink concoction pairs it with toasted coconut. The purple brew is perfect for fall and Halloween season and a unique twist on a fall drink special.
7. Apple Cider Slushie at Isom’s Orchard in Athens
You know it’s officially fall when Isom’s has their iconic Apple Cider Slushies. Located off HWY 72, Isom’s Orchard turns their homemade apple cider into refreshing slushies every fall using fresh apples from their orchard.
Trust me, the tasty cider slushies and perfect fall aesthetic are worth the drive.

Bonus: Nightmare Before Christmas Menu at Olde Towne Coffee (coming October)
In just a few weeks, Olde Towne Coffee is introducing a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed drink menu. The fall specials will each be based on a different season with a Halloween twist in essence of the classic Halloween movie.
We got a special tasting from the fall menu and can’t wait for it to be officially out.
