As temperatures climb to 80 and the sun is making more frequent appearances, we’re looking forward to all things spring here in Huntsville.

One of my favorite parts about warmer weather are the refreshingly chilly drinks, and smoothies are the go-to for me.

Whether you like them creamy and chocolatey or fruity and fresh, these seven spots in Huntsville have you covered all spring and summer long.

1. Creme Brew Lait

Who knew that a drive-thru coffee shop hailing from Alaska would have some of the best smoothies around? Creme Brew Lait is a new coffee shop in Madison that also has what they call the “Smoothie Playlist.” It includes three dairy-free smoothies made with only high-quality ingredients.

2. Just Love Coffee Cafe

If you’ve never explored Just Love’s “fully waffled menu” (with waffle sandwiches and waffled omelets, among others), you’re missing out. While you’re there, be sure to grab one of their fresh smoothies.

3. Jamos Cafe

Jamos Cafe is a Mediterranean food spot that locals in Huntsville know and love. In addition to their excellent falafel, pita and kabobs, they make some delicious fruity smoothies—try the banana one for sure.

4. Turbo Coffee

Coffee isn’t the only way to get energized at Turbo Coffee. They also have an expansive menu of smoothies, ranging from fruity varieties like Mad Mango and Blue Lagoon to protein-packed ones like Java Chip and Peanut Butter Blaster.

5. Rocket City Nutrition

If you’re looking for something a little more filling, try Rocket City Nutrition’s meal replacement shakes. They’re packed with protein (24-27 grams!) and are a low-carb, low-sugar option. They’ve got a bevy of flavors to choose from, so you’ll never get bored.

6. Flint River Coffee

This farmhouse-turned coffee shop is a favorite of locals (especially those in the Ryland Pike and Winchester Road areas). They’ve got amazing coffee, but you shouldn’t stop there. They have rotating flavors of smoothies that keep things fresh.

7. CKB Wellness
