A new concert series is coming to Campus 805

Huntsville’s music scene has been seeing a recent explosion in new projects and bands coming to the Rocket City.

A free new concert series will be starting later this month at Campus 805.

This free new concert series will be called 805 After 5 and will take place on the third Thursday of each month from now through October.

The concerts will take place outdoors on the Buttler Green lawn from 5-8 PM. The organizers promise to bring a new touring act to the campus each month. This month’s headliner is The Lemon Twigs.

In addition to music, expect to find food trucks, vendors, yard games and craft beer from Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer.

Other concert series in Huntsville + surrounding area

Huntsville has several other concert series that take place around the city that showcase a wide array of genres from local and internationally acclaimed musicians:

• Lowe Mill | Concerts on the Dock | every Saturday in May starting on the 10th.
• Big Spring Park | Concerts at the Park | every Monday in June-August
• Limestone County Courthouse | Fridays After 5 | the last Friday of the month April-July
• Merchants Ally, Athens | Merchants Ally Happy Hour | every Friday in May and June
• Stovehouse |  Stovehouse Thursday Night Summer Series | every Thursday from now through October
