AB Stephens relocating after 40+ years in the same location

AB Stephens Music, who has served Huntsville for more than 40 years and is known for their long-standing building on Drake Avenue, is set to close the doors at their current location at the end of May.

The piano and keyboard sales department is being relocated to Billiards, Barstools & Patio, while the sheet music sales department and the performance studios are closing their doors for good.

Music lovers who have visited the store most likely know Janet Parks, the manager of the sheet music department. Mrs. Parks, who is 82 years old, has worked at the store and served our community for the past 43 years.

“(The store) means the world to me because I see people all the time. I’ve seen the same people for decades. Kids of teachers who have passed away.”

Janet Parks has built and fostered relationships with thousands of customers over the course of 43 years, even describing the store as her “second home.”

Janet Parks is doing her best to get rid of all sheet music inventory before the store relocates.

The store has a seemingly endless supply of sheet music for sale, all of which is 50% off, with some sections being as high as 75% off.
