J. Cole’s “Trunk Sale” tour

J. Cole has a long, established career as a rapper.
He began his rap journey at North Carolina AT&T University, where he first sold mixtapes out of his car for $1. In light of his upcoming The Fall Off Tour, Cole decided to bring it full circle and travel to HBCUs across the country, selling mixtapes out of his old Honda Civic for — you guessed it — $1.
Yesterday, he made his 13th stop at Alabama A&M, and students were thrilled.
Appearance at Alabama A&M

While there were whispers of J. Cole potentially making an appearance in Huntsville last week, it was a total surprise to most for him to step on campus.
Fans flocked to greet his arrival, and although it was a quick visit, many were overjoyed to meet the hitmaker:
“It was great that I got to see one of my favorite artists. And even greater that it was in my Chick-Fil-A uniform!”
Divine Micheals, Alabama A&M student
