On the night of August 27, 2026, the Southeast was treated to a shadow puppet show of cosmic proportions when a near-total lunar eclipse was visible.
The eclipse’s peak occurred at approximately 11:12PM CT, and under clear conditions could be seen easily with the naked eye.
