Auburn and Troy to face off for an exciting game at Toyota Field
Reading time: 2 minutes
Toyota Field is home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, of course, but before the Trash Pandas take the field for the 2024 season, the Auburn Tigers and Troy Trojans will meet on the diamond.
Auburn will host Troy March 12 in a regular season match-up with the Tigers as the home team.
Auburn vs. Troy at Toyota Field
Auburn is returning to Toyota Field for the third straight season, recording victories over Tennessee Tech in 2022 and North Alabama in 2023.
Both Auburn and Troy appeared in last year’s NCAA tournament. Auburn placed 5th in the Southeastern Conference and hosted an NCAA Regional at Plainsman Park. The Trojans finished 3rd in the Sun Belt Conference and reached the NCAA Regional in Tuscaloosa.
The March 12 game marks the final tune-up before conference play begins for each club.
“We look forward to continuing this early spring tradition here at Toyota Field,” said Trash Pandas Executive Vice President & General Manager, . “This will be the third year in a row we’ve welcomed Auburn. It’s always a treat to see Aubie. And Troy’s visit will mark the first Sun Belt Conference team we’ve hosted, and so we’re excited to welcome them up from the southern part of the state.”
