Caroline’s Pick: Chicken + Steak Tacos @ Sabor Latino

I went to Sabor Latino, my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant, multiple times this month. I am pretty consistent about my order, but I am always happy. I also love their fries, you can tell they were fried in-house and come out of the kitchen hot and delicious.

Amelia’s Pick: Animal-style Fries @ Goodland Pourhouse

In addition to the 50+ beer options offered at Goodland Pour House, they also have delicious food options.

“These fries at Goodland Pour House were so good and I’ve been dreaming about them for the past few days. The combo of bacon jam, beer cheese + secret sauce creates a tantalizing dish that keeps you begging for more. These were so good that by the time my food came, I was stuffed!”

Ashlyn’s Pick: Pain Au Chocolat, Ham and Swiss Croissant + more @ L’Etoile Patisserie

L’etoile is a staple in the Huntsville community for authentic (and delicious) French baked goods.

City Barbecue is one of the most exciting recent restaurant additions to the area, and it seems like their food is living up to the hype.

Elizabeth’s Pick: Chocolate Chip Cookie + Earl Grey Oatmilk @ Southside Cocktail Club

Southside Cocktail Club, another highly-anticipated newbie to Huntsville, is not just home to cocktails. Our senior content producer, a self-proclaimed coffee-shop afficionado, loved trying their inventive twist on milk and cookies.

“Once I saw someone post about this menu item in downtown’s newest bar, I couldn’t rest until I tried it. And it exceeded expectations. The decadent chocolate chip cookie is made to order—I asked for medium rare for the perfect gooey to crunchy ratio. It’s served with a short glass of cold oatmilk steeped with earl grey tea for the perfect dessert duo.”

Mallory’s Pick: BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad @ Cooper’s Hawk

Cooper’s Hawk—the highly anticipated Madison restaurant and winery—finally opened earlier this month. The menu features a variety of wines and delicious meals.

Big Ed’s pizza has been a longtime favorite of the Huntsville community. While their pizza is a clear highlight of the menu, their appetizers also deserve praise:
