Black Restaurant Week: Here’s how to celebrate in Huntsville

Black Restaurant Week is happening in Huntsville from June 7-19.

Black Restaurant Week Huntsville (BRWHSV) has compiled a comprehensive list of local restaurants and is hosting several events now through Juneteenth. Here’s some of the highlights:

Black Restaurant Week Events

Several events are happening over the next week, here are a few from BRWHSV:

• Black Bar Crawl
  • Support local Black-owned bars; tickets are $40 and include transportation to each bar by Party Life Bus and complimentary drinks.
  • When: Friday, June 14, 6 PM-2 AM

• 2nd Annual Huntsville R&B Soul and Blues Picnic
  • Celebrate Juneteenth and Father’s Day with food trucks, live music, vendors, art and more. Bring coolers, lawn chairs and drinks + enjoy the vibes.
  • When: Sunday, June 16, 1-8 PM
  • Where: National Speleological Society

• Juneteenth Celebration Party
  • Enjoy the finale of Black Restaurant Week with a party at Envy including live music, drink specials and wings.

Huntsville is full of a diverse selection of restaurants to choose from. BRWHSV has put together a comprehensive list of over a hundred Black-owned restaurants throughout Huntsville.
