Keep reading to find out where it’s located, what’s in it + more.

The news comes as a result of the Main Street Madison initiative, which aims to revitalize Downtown Madison and establish a local, well-loved + vibrant entertainment district.
“Establishing an entertainment district creates new opportunities for people to gather, support local businesses, and experience the unique charm that defines Historic Downtown Madison. This is an exciting step toward a more vibrant city center.”
Madison Mayor Renae Bartlett
The district is situated within the heart of Downtown Madison, right in the middle of the action. There are dozens of amazing businesses within its limits, and here are just a few to peruse:
- 📚 Blue Apple Books
- ☕️ Honest Coffee Madison
- 🫧 Lemon + Lavender
- 🏡 Noble Passage Interiors
And, another thing for you collectors out there: this entertainment district will feature North Alabama’s first green cup district! That means you’ll be able to take your drink for a stroll within the limits of the district, similar to Downtown Huntsville’s purple cups. Here’s a few establishments you’ll be able to grab a green cup from:
- 🐻 Old Black Bear Brewing Co.
- 🍷 The Vine + Oak wine bar
- 🍝 Zanotta’s Ristorante
- 🥪 Main Street Cafe
No matter what you’re into, this is an exciting + stimulating addition to the already rapidly growing Madison area.
