Cadence Bank to break ground on new banking hub downtown

Cadence Bank will break ground this week on its new banking hub in Downtown Huntsville. The ceremony is set for Friday at 10AM. The bank plans to open in 2026.
The new facility at 102 Heart of Huntsville Drive will house a branch and serve as a central hub for the region’s operations.

When completed in 2026, the facility will feature the latest in workplace technology and customer-focused design, creating a space that reflects Cadence Bank’s commitment to innovation, collaboration and service excellence.
The building will serve as a new home for teammates and a central hub for operations in the Huntsville region.
The architect on the project is Hendon + Huckestein, the contractor is Fite Building Company and Cadence was represented by Graham & Company.

New banks in Huntsville
Several new banks have entered the Huntsville market in the last couple of years, with each looking to capitalize on the rapid growth here in the Rocket City.
Banks that have entered the market or plan to enter include:
Bank Independent, Chase Bank and FirstBank have each opened new branches in the Huntsville metro in the last couple of years as well.
