“Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro is a fan of this special Huntsville restaurant

Buddy Valastro, better known to many as the “Cake Boss,” remembers this iconic restaurant from his visit to Huntsville eight years ago.

You might be familiar with Valastro from his appearances on this Food Network. The New Jersey bakery owner starred in multiple T.V. shows including “Cake Boss,” “Next Great Baker” and “Buddy’s Family Vacation.”

What Huntsville restaurant is a favorite of the Cake Boss?

If you guessed that Dallas Mill Deli was Valastro’s favorite, you’d be right.

He shouted out Lindsey Jennings, a lifelong Huntsville resident and the deli’s owner since 2012, in a recent video. If the pretzel salad is good enough for the Cake Boss, then it’s certainly good enough for me!

When was Buddy Valastro in Huntsville?

The Valastro family visited Huntsville as part of the show “Buddy’s Family Vacation,” and the Huntsville episode aired in June 2016. Eight years later, and Buddy still has the pretzel salad on his mind.

While in Huntsville, the Valastroes visited the Space and Rocket Center, Big Bob Gibson’s for their famous Alabama white sauce, Bigfoot’s Little Donuts and finally Dallas Mill Deli.
