Halloween is just weeks away and if you want to find some events here in town to get you in the spooky spirit, we have plenty to tell you about.

Whether you are looking for something to do with your kids — like a trunk-or-treat gathering — or something for adults, we have you covered. Check out these events:

Halloween events in the Rocket City

The City of Huntsville Parks & Recreation Department is hosting mu;triple Halloween events this year, including:

  • Boo Bash: Thursday, Oct. 24, 6-8PM, Brahan Spring Recreation Center
  • Monster Mash: Saturday, Oct. 26, 10AM to 12:30PM, Mark Russell Recreation Center
  • Haunted Hallways & Fall Festival: Tuesday, Oct. 29, 5:30-8PM, Cavalry Hill Recreation Center
  • Halloween Party & Haunted House: Sunday, Oct. 27, 4-9PM, The Orion Amphitheater
  • Adaptive Fall Fun Festival: Tuesday, Oct. 29, 5:30-7:30PM, Fern Bell Recreation Center
  • A Frightful Night of Fun & Games: Wednesday, Oct. 30, 5-8PM, Optimist Recreation Center
  • Hallowfest: Thursday, Oct. 31, 6-9PM, Lakewood Recreation Center
  • Spooktacular Fall Festival: Thursday, Oct. 31, 6-9PM, Showers Recreation Center

  • Make a Way Foundation Fall Festival: Oct. 20, 1-3PM, Camp Helen, Harvest, Alabama
  • Aldersgate UMC: Oct. 20, 4-6PM, 12901 Bailey Cove Road, Huntsville
  • EarlyWorks Halloween Bash: Oct. 24-26, 4:30-8:30PM, 404 Madison Street, Huntsville
  • Toyota Field Fall Festival: Oct. 26, 5-7PM, Toyota Field, Madison
  • Trunk or Treat at Madison Methodist: Oct. 26, 5-7PM, 127 Church St, Madison

Also do not miss the Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll Oct. 20 from 1-3PM at the historic Maple Hill Cemetery.

Halloween season cannot be complete without the local Witches Rides in town. Here’s the schedule this year:
