Besides Annie and Stacie, all the TMS ladies work as technicians, which consists of treating the patients, walking them through the TMS process and assisting them with any questions they have.
“We meet them where they are. When they come in, they’re often in a dark place, and many of them are afraid.
We provide a lot of emotional support. Often our patients share their greatest fears and anxieties with us, and we’re there to support them.”

Q: What do you like about working with patients?
- Annie: “People are often coming to us on their worst day, so I love giving them the confidence that we know what we’re doing to help them.”
- Kaylie: “My favorite part is giving them hope, keeping them positive and letting them know it’s going to be okay.”
- Savannah: “It’s meaningful to be that safe space for them, so they know that what they say here is in confidence.”
- Dorothee: “I love building a connection with patients and seeing them change and improve over time.”
- Sharon: “I always enjoy seeing the patients’ progress. When many of them start, they struggle to do basic everyday tasks, but by the end of treatment, they’re picking up new hobbies.”
Check out a few examples of improvements the TMS staff has witnessed over time:
- Witnessing a patient improve just in a few days due to accelerated treatment
- Patients starting to have the energy to do the little things like clean or walk the dog
- Family members—even kids—noticing that a patient is consistently in a better mood and much more pleasant to be around
- A patient who didn’t want to do small tasks like brushing their teeth starting to go to hot yoga several times a week
- Watching a patient who wouldn’t make eye contact at the start of treatment beginning to laugh and crack jokes
Q: What would you tell someone considering TMS Huntsville?
- Annie: “Don’t give up—please, don’t give up. You have a group of people waiting with open arms and smiling faces, ready to walk alongside you.”
- Kaylie: “Your well-being is worth the effort; give it a try.”
- Savannah: “I encourage anyone considering TMS to take the step—even though it’s hard. Once they begin to notice a change in themselves, it’s so rewarding.”
- Stacie: “I would absolutely give it a try.”
- Dorothy: “We’ve seen so many success stories and know it works—especially with the accelerated treatment, you can see results in just a few days. Plus, TMS doesn’t have side effects like medication does.”
