Looking for a fun family outing that symbolizes hope, peace and love? I would recommend the Huntsville Water Lantern Festival, scheduled for May 21 at Big Spring Park West (420, Church Street NW, Huntsville, AL 35801).

This is a family friendly event that can be shared by friends, families, neighbors — and people that perhaps you haven’t met — who can come together to create a peaceful, memorable experience.

First, how much does it cost?

  • Early ticket prices (through April 15): $25
  • Regular ticket prices (April 16-May 13): $35
  • Late ticket prices (May 14-20): $45
