Check out these 3 upcoming tree lightings in Huntsville

The holiday season is quickly approaching, and what better way to get into the Christmas spirit then by attending a tree lighting ceremony? Gather with family, friends and community this month to kick off the holidays.
Bridge Street Town Centre

Wandering Bridge Street in the winter months when the 45ft Christmas tree, cutesy reindeer and other holiday decor are displayed is probably the closest I’ll get to being in a Hallmark movie. Next Friday, Bridge Street will host their annual tree lighting ceremony, making the shopping center look like a snow globe scene for the next couple of months.

Tinsel Trail

The Tinsel Trail, a fan-favorite tradition, is almost ready to return to Downtown Huntsville. It’s always exciting to see Big Spring Park transform into a whimsical wonderland of trees decorated by locals. Ring in the holidays by attending the official lighting of the Rocket City Tree, then keep on the lookout for pop-up coffee shops, live music and other festive fun throughout the season.
Fun fact: The Tinsel Trail is made up of 400+ live Christmas trees.
- When: November 28 | 6PM
- Where: Big Spring Park
Athens-Limestone Tinsel Trail

Downtown Athens’ small town charm makes it the perfect location to immerse yourself in cozy holiday vibes this time of year, and I’m not just saying that because a Christmas movie was filmed here. The Athens-Limestone Tinsel Trail is hosting a tree lighting ceremony featuring storytelling with Santa, hot chocolate, Happi Pappi Beignets and a countdown to lighting 100 trees at 6:30PM.
- When: November 20 | 6PM
- Where: Big Spring Memorial Park
