It’s October, and you know that that means: Halloween, fall weather and Witches Rides! That’s right, all over the Huntsville area, communities will come together to raise funds for a variety of causes as “witches” ride their bikes through the neighborhood.

We have some long-standing witches rides here in the Rocket City, each benefiting a different cause.

Madison Witches Ride

  • What: The Madison Witches Ride is hosted by Madison Visionary Partners as a fundraiser to benefit Madison Arts Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing a vibrant and inclusive arts culture in the city.

Blossomwood Witches Ride

  • What: The Blossomwood Witches Ride is a fun bike ride through the neighborhood of Blossomwood, benefiting Blount Hospitality House, a caring “home away from home” for patients and/or their families who are in Huntsville seeking medical treatment.
  • Where: Begins at Blossomwood Elementary School, travels along Colorado Avenue, Locust Avenue and Carmelian Street.
