We have several new businesses to introduce this week, including a huge opening at Bridge Street, some cool new places to eat and a well-known clothing store.

Unfortunately, we also have a couple of business closings to announce as well.

1. Walk Ons Sports Bistreaux

This sports bar/restaurant concept was started by former LSU walk on basketball player Brandon Landry, who took his “walk on mentality” to a new level in drafting his dream on the back of a bar napkin and turned it into reality. This is not your typical sports bar, as you will see from the unique menu.

2. Lego Store

A line that stretched around the building and into the parking lot showed just how excited folks were to experience the opening of the only Lego Store in Alabama, here at Bridge Street.

3. Mountain High Outfitters

Mountain High Outfitters has been helping Alabamians suit up for adventure for years, and now they’re celebrating the opening of their 13th store in the state later this week. This Clift Farm location will be the third in the Huntsville area, with two others in Bridge Street and Merchants Walk.

4. Cuppa Yo

This new location for the national healthy yogurt chain will be the first in Alabama. Cuppa Yo offers a wide variety of frozen yogurt options — including vegan, sugar-free, low carb, low fat, fat-free and more.

5. Barracuda Taco Stand

Barracuda Taco Stand — a Louisiana-based walk-up taco stand — began construction recently on its new Huntsville location near the new Lumberyard venue.
