Check out these 7 amazing summer concerts coming to the Rocket City

The last few years have been fantastic for music fans here in the Rocket City, especially with the addition of the Orion Amphitheater and the increased number of shows at the multiple venues at the Von Braun Center.
This summer, Huntsville will host a plethora of big-time music shows, in addition to a 2-day music festival at John Hunt Park in September. Check out these awesome summer concerts:
1. Needtobreathe – May 24
Needtobreathe comes to the Orion Amphitheater for their Caves World Tour at the end of May. This should be a fabulous live show and a great way to kick of our summer concerts lineup.

2. Steve Earle – June 1

4. Totally Tubular Festival – July 12
If you are a fan of 80s music, you simply cannot miss this festival at the Orion. This lineup includes Thomas Dolby, Men Without Hats, Wang Chung, the Romantics and more.

7. Slash’s S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival – August 13
Slash of Guns n’ Roses brings his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival to Huntsville (an anagram and stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance). The festival features Larkin Poe, ZZ Ward and more.
